Ustadh Ismaeel Yusuf has successfully completed Hifdh of the Holy Quran. He has also studied various Islamic sciences and classical texts in Masjid Al Nabawi under esteemed scholars including Sheikh Ibn Al-Sayed Laasheen, Sheikh Khalid Al-Afifi and Sheikh Amir Bahjat over a three-year period. Ustadh Ismaeel is an experienced Quran and Tajweed teacher who has guided and taught many students of all abilities, from across different age groups. He also teaches Quranic and conversational Arabic to non-native speakers.

He has attained multiple Ijazahs in various classical texts including Al Jazzariyyah, which he studied comprehensively over two years with Muqri Sheikh Ghazi Al Madani of India (Muqri and former teacher in Masjid An-Nabawi). The classical text Tuhfatul Atfaal with Ibn Muqri Sheikh Sayed Laasheen Abul Farah (RA), a renowned Muqri of Madinah from Egypt.

Ustadh Ismaeel has studied from various books including Jami Ul Bayaan and Hidayatul Qari with Muqri sheikh Muhammad Omar Al Janayini (student of Muqri Sheikh Sayed Laasheen, Muqri Sheikh Abdul Rafi Sharqawi and other scholars). Currently Ustadh Ismaeel is pursuing further studies of the classical text Al Shaatibiyah under Muqri Sheikh Ahmed Hamido Al Iskandarani of Egypt. This is driven by his desire to impart valuable classical knowledge of the science of Qira’at to his students.
