The last type of Madd covered here is called compulsory Madd (Madd Laazim). This occurs where after a Madd letter there appears a Tashdeed (ّ) in the same word. The length of the recitation will be lengthy (Tool), which is six Harakaat long (six seconds). A few examples of compulsory Madd are given below.
وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ , ٱلْحَآقَّةُ , ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
